Since the Berkshire Property Meet has been launched we have kept the format very simple. The Berkshire Property Meet started in the Stafferton Lodge, Maidenhead with a very simple networking only format. Which was a hit from the start with support from a few friends we soon out grew the pub and needed to find a bigger venue.

The first venue we looked at was the Holiday Inn Maidenhead. It didn't quite and hit the mark with us. So we continued the look. After visiting numerous venues in and around Maidenhead we soon realised there was only one venue that even came close to fitting the bill.

The Holiday Inn Maidenhead by default became the venue of choice. It's location was key just off the M4, A404, easy access from the M25 & M40. With lots of FREE parking. In it's huge car park. Little did we know that down the line that even that car park wouldn't be big enough. Maidenhead is also on the main line from London about 30 mins from Paddington (London). The Holiday Inn Maidenhead is a short taxi ride or a brisk walk from the station. Once we got the to 'new' venue in September 2008 and our first speaker Glenn Armstrong.

We knew we had hit a winning a formula in our simple format. Networking-Speaker-Networking. The numbers have grown steadily since we moved to the hotel to a peak of 320 in January 2009 with Vanish Patel stating he was a 'little nervous' but he didn't let us down.
