Path of Least Resistance

It’s always easier to take the path of least resistance…

Many years ago as an employee it was easier to come home flop down on the sofa and veg out in front of the TV. But when I started to wanting to grow a business both property and network marketing. I had to get off my arse and do something different.

Grabbing the remote was too easy and it was habit but it didn’t serve me. However reading the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki sparked something inside me. It was a hunger for change and a desire for something better.

At the the I was Mr 9 to 5 happy in my full-time IT job in the Public Sector. To break out I needed to change my habit. That programming that I had been getting for the last 30+ years.

It started with a hunger for knowledge via books.. And I have read many many books over the last 10 years. I started giving up my weekends to go to seminars on property and personal development. Networking event all over the UK. The hunger for knowledge and association with the right people was strong.

It’s easy to take the path of least resistance and say i’ll get started to tomorrow. BUT dig deep and find your why and you will find the will.

Make it easy for yourself. Take away the barriers and take away the distractions.

I used to pay to the gym and never went. It was too much effort to fit in into my schedule. But I saw one of those dreaded infomercials for Insanity and decided to work out at home in the morning first thing.

Now it’s a habit to get up at 6am and do my workout. No need to think about it just follow the plan.
